2012 Forsythia Pageant

Event Description
Wanda Hopson has been the coordinator of the Forsythia Pageant with the help of her two daughters, Lauren and Stephanie, since 2004. The pageant was started in order to give young Forsythians a place to showcase their hometown spirit. The Forsythia Pageant is a place where young girls and boys can participate in the celebration of their hometown and be more involved. We are dedicated to teach these young people self-esteem, confidence, and poise and we use this pageant as a platform in order to do so. Wanda strives to make the pageant a bigger success every year. With the support of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce she has been able to do just that. The Forsythia Pageant is a Monroe County Chamber of Commerce Sanctioned event.
