Event Description:
Since 1988, the Forsythia Festival has been our community’s vibrant welcome to spring! Held annually on the second weekend in March, the festival aligns with the blooming of Forsythia plants that brighten the Historic Downtown Square and beyond. These cheerful yellow blossoms traditionally appear with the season’s first warm spell.
Festivities begin in February with the Hello Yellow Kickoff Party, featuring the popular Food Truck Frenzy. The excitement builds with a cornhole tournament, and 5K race, all leading up to the two-day arts & crafts festival—a cherished tradition celebrating community, creativity, and the arrival of spring!
