Event Description:
Encouraging educational excellence has long been a focus of the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce. Modeled loosely after the STAR Program, the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce recognizes students in the middle school grades who have maintained all A's on their report cards throughout the school year. Students are treated to a luncheon away from school, a gift sponsored by a Chamber-member business, professional or organization.
There are two types of sponsorship available:
The $100 student sponsorship will pay for the student's gift, award, lunch, your name alongside the student's in the award program, and your business's logo will be featured in The Reporter. Additionally, a special thank you will be given to these sponsors at the conclusion of the program.
Additionally, there are three $100 sponsorship opportunities for a teacher's award.
If your business or organization would like to be a sponsor for one or more students, please call the Chamber at (478) 994-9239. Deadline for sponsorship is April 28.
This year's luncheon and awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017. If you would like to sponsor a child you may do so by signing up online or by contacting Kari at kari@forsyth-monroechamber.com or (478) 994-9239.
