Event Description:
Smithsonian Hometown Teams Sports Exhibit The City of Forsyth has been selected as one of 12 Georgia cities to receive a prestigious honor in the Summer of 2017. For six weeks, Forsyth will host the Hometown Teams sports exhibit, sponsored by the Smithsonian Institute, the Georgia Humanities Council, and Forsyth Main Street. The Smithsonian Institute is providing a national sports exhibit for Forsyth to run from June 10, 2017 to July 21, 2017, while Forsyth will provide a local sports exhibit that will run in tandem with the Smithsonian's. The exhibit will be displayed at the Conley Building located next to the old train depot on Adams Street.
